3. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
LATICRETE 9237 is an easy to use, roller applied
liquid rubber that forms a waterproof membrane for
use under thin and thick bed installations of ceramic
tile, stone and other finishes. Recommended for
residential and commercial floor and wall installations
such as; kitchens, bathrooms, gang showers and
balconies. For internal and external application.
Complies with; AS/NZS4858-2004.

Coverage
Approximately 15 –18 m2 per 19 litre pail and 6 –
7.2m2 per 7.6 litre pail
- Note: 9237 liquid is applied in 2 coats for a total
wet thickness of 1.0 – 1.5mm. Coverage varies
based on substrate texture & porosity, and
application technique.
Shelf Life Factory sealed containers of this product
are guaranteed to be of first quality for two (2) years
if stored indoors at > 0oC and < 43oC.
Limitations
- Not a wearing surface –cover with tile, stone or brick.
- Not for use in applications such as swimming pools,
fountains and the like, use LATICRETE 9235 (consult
LATICRETE).
- Do not expose to direct ultraviolet (UV) light for longer
than 30 days.
- Do not apply too thick; dry thickness should not
exceed 2mm.
- Not designed for direct use over expansion joints,
control joints or structural cracks.
- Do not install when temperatures are below 7oC.
- Allow membrane extra curing time in cold or
damp weather.
- Not a vapour barrier.
- Do not use in areas subject to negative
hydrostatic pressure
